BIOGRAPHY

Tamara Lise graduated from ENSAV La Cambre art and design school in Belgium with a visual arts degree in 2011. Her current work is permeated with an artistic and pictorial quality that stems from her initial training in book binding and she presents now her own writing on various supports, such as glass, canvas and metal, while drawing inspiration from prehistory, traditional and contemporary art.

Fascinated in art history, literature and cinema from a very young age, Tamara Lise now specialises in paintings and artist’s books. Tamara Lise creates an experience that plunges our senses into the heart of the immaterial properties of words intermixed with a pictorial and poetic experience.

Her work can be found in international private collections and art galleries.

Tamara Lise est une artiste visuelle diplômée de l'ENSAV La Cambre (Belgique) en 2011, qui vit et travaille en Seine-et-Marne. Imprégné par une qualité artistique et picturale saisie lors de sa formation à la reliure d’art, elle affirme dorénavant ses propres écrits sur des supports variés tels que le verre, la toile, le métal, en puisant son inspiration dans la préhistoire et les arts d’hier et d’aujourd’hui.

Attirée très jeune par l’histoire de l’art, de la littérature et du cinéma, elle s'est spécialisée dans les tableaux et le livre d'artiste. Tamara Lise élabore une plongée sensorielle au cœur de l’immatérialité du mot en entrecroisant une expérience picturale et une expérience poétique.

Son travail est présent dans des collections privées et institutionnelles du monde entier.
